Halloween festivities

It was a rainy day but we still made it to Spooner Farms for our annual pumpkin patch activities and corn maze!  This year we split up- girls vs moms.  The girls beat us.  At least we made it through... with only a little help! 😜
Carson's New Level team got together and went to the Fright Factory in Buckley.  They thought it was pretty scary!  Rylee went another night with friends too.  She was spooked as well.
Rylee's softball team dressed as Magic 8 balls for a Halloween tournament.  The coaches costume was the best!
The kids carved their own pumpkins this year with very little help.  They turned out pretty cute!
We hosted the neighbors for our annual Halloween party.  Unfortunately one of the families couldn't make it, but it was still a good time.
Carson went trick or treating in Sky Island with his friends Landon and Easton.
Rylee went trick or treating with her friend Eva and Kennedy.  They had a lot of fun despite the rainy weather.  They came home with a ton of candy!
Lance was in charge of porch decorations this year.  The "saloon" turned out great!
Kona hated all things Halloween.  She was scared of the decorations and masks.  She hated to wear her costume.  It was her first real Halloween though, so I guess she gets a pass.  She did make a cute firefighter!

Fall baseball at Lakeridge Middle School

Carson just finished his school baseball season.  He played Varsity again this year and was one of only three 7th graders on the team.
Carson's friend Landon plays for Sumner Middle School.  They tied 5-5.  That was a really fun game to watch!
They ended the season 6-3-1.  Carson played 2nd base and pitched a little.
For the last game they played Mountainview Middle School on the Bonney Lake High School baseball field.  It was a really fun game even though they lost 1-9.  His friends Camden and Jason (from his New Level Team) played for MVMS.  After the game they all hung out and had pizza and other treats.
Carson's friend Ray Ray was on the varsity team this year too.  They had a lot of fun playing together.
It was a fun season.  Can't wait until next year!

15th Birthday festivities

My girl is 15!  We celebrated her multiple times.  On her actual b-day Lance and I picked her up from school and took her to lunch.  She chose Craft 19 for some delicious crepes.  She had softball practice that night so she brough everyone maple bars.  On the Friday after her b-day we took her friend Eva and Kennedy to Red Robin.  Yum!
Sunday we celebrated with Mandy, Jon, Kennedy, Grandma and Papa.  We had hamburger soup (Rylee's favorite) and cupcakes for dessert.
On a free Saturday we took Rylee and her friend Eva to Seattle to celebrate again.  She really wanted to go to the new aquarium.  It was so cool!
We also went to Wings over Washington, which we've done before but really enjoyed.  Then we walked through Pike Place Market and bought the girls some flowers.
They had fun walking around and taking lots of pictures.
Rylee took over our old digital camera and has been having a blast taking lots of pictures.  The girls were very excited to take some sunset pics with their new bouquets of flowers.
We had dinner at Sugo hand roll bar.  They made the sushi right in front of us.  It was cool to watch and really delicious!
The weather was absolutely perfect for our adventures.  We had a great day!
Happy 15th birthday Rylee!
