Fall hike to Dewey Lake

 

We've had the most beautiful fall this year.  Warm temperatures and hardly any rain.  Lance and I took advantage of the weather and hiked to Dewey Lake one day.

The colors were so vibrant, fall was out in full force!

The lake was gorgeous.  We had a picnic lunch before hiking back.

Kona had fun too.  She met lots of new friends along the way and got lots of pets.

We stopped in Greenwater on the way back for a cold beer.  The weather was so nice we were able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.  We need to do this more often!

"Hocochella" Homecoming dance

HOCO proposal.  Kona wasn't much help but at least she was cute!  

Carson and his date Olivia went with a group.  The 2 boys- Isaac and Mason went to middle school with Carson.

They took pictures at Farm12.  They all looked so good!

Lance and I took them to dinner at HG Bistro (we sat in a separate area of course).  They all had a great time at HOCO and danced it up until the end! 🎵

Rylee went in a big group as well.  The girls all got ready together at her friend Ella's house, then they went to Tehaleh to take pictures.  They had catered chipotle for dinner before going to the dance.

They all looked so beautiful!  "Hocochella" was the theme this year.  Rylee said they all had a blast at the dance.

First Day of School- Freshman & Junior at BLHS

First day of school!  Carson- freshman, Rylee- junior and is also doing running start at Pierce College.

Neighbor boys!  All are freshman except Eldon on the left, he is in 8th grade.

Summer Fun

 

Last day of school- Sophomore year.  I didn't get a picture of Carson because he had a sleepover the night before the last day, and then immediately went to another friends house after school.

Some lake time was had.  Unfortunately our normal summer lake time was cut short because the lake levels were so low that they had to close all the boat launches!

We went to a few concerts.  We went with a group to see Ziggy Marley and J. Boog at the Chateau St. Michelle winery.  It was so much fun!  Both artists were great.

Rylee, her friend Joslyn, her mom Muriel and I went to see Slightly Stoopid with the Elovators at Marymoor Park.  That was a fun venue!

Rylee and Eva went to see Ed Sheeran at Lumen Field.  They had a blast and said he was amazing.

 Quick cousin visit for some mini golf and dinner.

The kids did their annual hiking/ camping trip with Uncle Peter.

This year was more of a beach hike.  They both agree that their favorite part was seeing a bear!😮

They had a great time as always.  They are so lucky to have an uncle willing to take them on these adventures!

The kids went camping with Uncle Peter so Lance and I decided to go camp at Whispering Pines in Cle Elum.  We had a great campsite right on the pond.  Of course we had to go into town for dinner at the Brick!

More cousin time!  Never too much Kennedy time.
