Just another day at Ma and Pa's

Sunday afternoon was beautiful (FINALLY!!!) so we went out on the boat and ventured over to visit Ma and Pa Thomas (great friends of ours that are like family, hence "Ma and Pa").  Rylee had so much fun trying out all of their water toys (Lance and I did too).  Coulee was in heaven, chasing sticks and jumping off the dock (it is easily her favorite place on earth next to the beach house).  We pretended to go tubing, tried out Janice's paddle board, chatted, and just enjoyed the sunshine.  It was a great day.




We've been busy doing tons of yard work lately.   It is NEVER ENDING!  Our front yard looks great, but the back needs a little TLC.  Last weekend Lance got 5 loads of bark and we spent most of the weekend weeding and spreading bark.  It looks so much better now!  We still have some work to do, but at least we are 3/4 of the way there!  (And Rylee was a big help as you can see from the pictures!)

 



Beach weekend with the Craig clan

 This weekend the Sequim Craigs, Bend Craigs, and Bonney Lake Craigs all got together at my parents beach house for a little R & R.  We had so much fun.  Rylee went on her 1st kayak ride and loved it!

 The kids got lots of cousin time in.  Rylee absolutely loved following Ace and Jack around, trying to do everything they did. 

 We spent lots of time outside.  The boys and Rylee went clamming on Saturday, then cooked them up for dinner and Rylee actually tried and liked them! 

 The boys spent lots of time fishing.  The catching didn't go so well.

 Everyone had fun kayaking and canoe-ing.  Coulee had fun chasing sticks (as usual), and the girls spent time relaxing and reading.  All in all, another great weekend at the beach!

Boating season is here!

This weekend was finally nice enough to get out on the lake. We took full advantage and went out all weekend! Saturday we went to Lake Tapps and spent the sun filled day relaxing and visiting friends. Sunday we went out on American Lake and did some fishing and more relaxing! I hope there are lots more weekends like this to come!
