Another busy weekend!

We just finished another busy but fun filled weekend.  I love the summer, but there is never any down time!  It's always go go go, especially with kids.  Friday we spent at the spray park.  As you can see- my kids spent most of the time trying to drink the water.  =)  Saturday was a BBQ for my friend Wendy who was visiting from Boston and then a trip to the Enumclaw street fair.  The fair was great, there were hardly any kids there so Rylee got to jump from ride to ride.  She loved it.  We finished Saturday with dinner at a drive-in (yum!) and playing at a park.  Sunday was spent catching up on stuff, shopping, and a special Daddy and daughter fishing trip to Lake Bonney.

Of course I had to add a little dance video.  My kids are all about music and dancing.  They crack me up!

Pool time

 The kids and I spent a fun Monday with friends at the Tapps Island pool.  What can I say... my kids are WATER BABIES.  They both love any kind of water- pools, lakes, ocean, baths.  Needless to say, they had a blast and I was exhausted by the end of the day.  =)

Mayfield Lake

 Last weekend was our 5 year wedding anniversary.  What better way to celebrate than taking the whole family camping at one of our favorite lakes... Lake Mayfield.  The kids had an absolute blast camping and sleeping in the tent.  They both were little troopers.  The campground is great for kiddos.  It has 2 playgrounds, plus a sandy area and water slides in the swimming area. 

 Rylee said her favorite part of the weekend was roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.  (Carson was passed out by this time =) )  It was a great weekend and a very memorable anniversary!

Welcome baby Christian!

 Our good friends' Tania and Jason welcomed a new baby boy last Monday.  His name is Christian Michael Selden and he is just perfect.  He is double the weight of his sister Alexis when she was born.  Alexis better watch out... Christian will catch up in no time!  Congrats guys!  We can't wait for a lifetime of fun and memories with this new little guy!

A perfect beach weekend

 What a gorgeous weekend to spend at the beach.  Saturday was just perfect weather and we took full advantage.  We played in the water and sand, went for kayak and boat rides, dug for clams (and ate them as an appetizer), found all kinds of sea life (star fish, sea cucumbers, moon snails, and all different size crabs), went swimming at the community pool, caught a couple of fish, had a beach bonfire, threw lots of sticks for Coulee, and had many meals outside in the sunshine.  We are very blessed to be able to spend so much time at the beach house!

 Lance even got to try out his new purchase... a new fishing boat.

Hot days = cool pool

 This is basically where the kids have been spending their time when the weather gets hot. Rylee thinks we need a bigger one that she can swim in, but I think it's just right for now.  They are too cute.

Cousin time!

 Last weekend the Bend Craig's came to visit and we were lucky enough to get all the cousins together.  (Which is very rare as 2 of them live in California).  We had a BUSY but very fun weekend.  We hit the lake every day and did lots of fishing, tubing and swimming.  The kids had an absolute blast playing together.  Rylee is already asking when she will see them again.  (Hopefully soon!!)
