Family photos 2018

My friend Michelle took some family photos of us again this year.  She is so talented.  I'm so lucky to have a great friend that is also a photographer!  

Scottsdale girls trip!

 I just returned from an amazing and luxurious trip to Scottsdale, Arizona with some of my best girlfriends.  We stayed at the Omni Resort and Spa in Paradise Valley.  It was a beautiful hotel with pools and palm trees everywhere.  The service was great too, they even took us to out room by golf cart.  So fun!

 This was our view from the adult pool where we spent most of our time.  They served delicious drinks and coronas on ice.  Heaven!

We went out to dinner and went dancing both nights.  I had no idea Scottsdale had such a happening night life!  Old town was a road lined with restaurants and shops, and a couple of streets down was a road flanked by nightclubs and bars.  You could take a tricked out golf cart to get back and forth if you didn't want to walk.  It was so much fun!  The bar we found the first night played every song we requested, and it had skee ball... score!  

My friend Wendy flew out from Boston to vacation with us.

It was such a nice weekend.  So much laughter and so many memories were made.  I came back relaxed and recharged and ready to take on real life.  I'm so thankful for amazing girlfriends that support and lift each other up.  I'm also thankful for (and so lucky to have) a wonderful husband who doesn't mind hanging with the kids all weekend while his wife gets some much needed R&R.

Halloween 2018

 Rylee dressed up as "Mal" from The Descendants and Carson was an "army guy."  We trick-or-treated the neighborhood in the rain and then went over to my sisters to see baby Kennedy dressed up as a pineapple.  The kids got way too much candy.  All in all it was a good night!

Boys camping weekend

While Rylee and the girls were celebrating her birthday, Lance and Carson went camping for the weekend.  I absolutely love how they bond over anything outdoors, especially fishing and camping.

Random Fall fun

We've had a fun fall.  Here is what we've been up to...

My girlfriends and I went to go see Macklemore at the fair.  He was amazing and so funny! I had no idea he was such a comedian.  He put on a great show.

We met up with our friends Elisabeth and Sherman and their boys to go to "Ciderfest" in Gig Harbor.  They offered childcare so we were able to drop the kids off for 2 hours and have a mini double date.  I just love beer/ cider tasting!  

Lance and I went on one of our favorite dates- to see a Cirque Du Soleil show at Marymoor park.  We absolutely love these shows, and this was one of my favorites!  My friend Michelle babysat the kids while we were gone.  They had fun playing with Michelle's kids Logan and Madeline.

My mom, sister and I went to see Luke Bryan at the White River amphitheater.  He was so good!

Kennedy is adorable and getting too big!

On the left is Rylee and I at her school skate night.  Carson was too embarrassed to skate with his mom, but Rylee was so sweet and kept checking in on me.  On the right is a letter Rylee left me on my nightstand one night while I was at work.  She knew I had a really tough week and it completely made my day to come home to this.  💗

Carson just finished his soccer season.  He was really into it this year and improved so much.  He made a new friend (Grayden) and had a blast playing on the same team as his neighbor friends Weilan and Bryce.

Rylee is good friends with Grayden's sister Juliana (above).  They got to hang out a lot while the boys played soccer.  This is them trying to make marshmallow slime- it was a total fail!
