First Homecoming! 9th grade at Bonney Lake High School

Rylee wanted to go to her first homecoming with friends, so she decided to ask her friend Maddie. 🥰  She made a cute sign and showed up at her house one evening.  Maddie loved it!
She had planned to go with a bigger group, but last minute there was some drama so only 3 of them went together.  They got ready at Maddie's house and took pictures on her dock.  It was a beautiful evening!  They all looked so pretty.
The theme was "Mamma Mia," they decided to wear blue since it was the color of water and Mamma Mia took place in Greece.
Lance and I drove them to dinner and then to/ from the dance.  They ate at Sorci's.  Yummmmm.  Lance and I had a date night there too, we just sat at different tables.😝
They said they danced all night and had a great time.  Perfect first homecoming!

Scottsdale Girls Trip

We skipped our annual Scottsdale trip last year after my friend Wendy was in a motorcycle accident, so we were more then ready to get back there this year!
We decided to stop at Target on our way to the hotel.  We had to roll our suitcases around the store since they wouldn't hold them for us.  We felt like bag ladies! 🤣
We stayed at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort again.  We just love that place!
Our favorite bartender Barb makes the best margaritas.  We now call them "Barbaritas!"
It was a much calmer year than most.  We didn't go out dancing at all.  We spent a lot of time by the pool (and in the pool since it was over 100 degrees every day).
We ate delicious food and drank fabulous drinks.  We spent a lot of time just catching up.
We ate at the hotel the first night, SumoMaya on Friday and Culinary Dropout on Saturday.  We had been to all of them before but they are all absolutely delicious and fun so we wanted to go back!
Wendy and I went to the spa one day for a massage and facial.  It was absolutely heavenly!
It was a relaxing and fun weekend.  I just love this special time with my girls.  I always come home recharged and ready to take on the world.  Can't wait until next year!

Jessica & Jonny's wedding

Our niece Jessica got married in September.  She and Jonny were married along a river in Port Angeles.  The scenery was absolutely stunning.
With cousins Ryan and Mira from California
Having fun after the ceremony
She was a beautiful bride and he was very handsome too.  The reception was fun and lots of dancing was done by all!
After the ceremony Carson went swimming in the river with his cousins and other wedding party.  Brr!

Summer fun

Homerun #2 at the Swinging Into Summer Tournament.  She had to wear the taco hat after that hit!
We went to see Jordan Davis at the Chateau St Michelle winery.  It was hot day, but a beautiful venue.  Will definitely be back for another concert!

Rylee and I spent the night at the beach after one of her tournaments.  It was a beautiful night as usual.  Rylee had to go out and get some sunset pics!
Carson went a loooong time without a haircut.  He had a pretty awesome 'fro!
Lots of boat time was had.  Swimming, tubing, bridge jumping, rope swinging, floating, fishing and friends.  I barely got any pictures which means we were having too much fun!
Landon's bday.  The boys had a great time golfing, batting, go carting and swimming.
16 year anniversary.  Spent most of the day at the ballpark with Rylee's team, but were able to make it home in time for a quick dinner at Windmill.  It was delicious!
Papa Tom visited and we took him to play mini golf.  It was a great time!
Rylee joined a new select softball team for the upcoming season.  They had their first "meet and greet" at the end of the summer.  She seems to like the team so far.  Hopefully it will be a great year!
Annual Sequim summer BBQ.  Kona got to go for the first time and she was a big hit!  It was a jam packed, fun filled summer.  I wish it wasn't over so soon!
