Crescent Bar 2021

We went to Crescent Bar in August with our friends Tania and Jason (and their kids Alexis and Christian).  It was so much fun.  5 days filled with sun, pool time, boating, games and friends.
We ventured over to the sandbar a couple of times.  It was great people watching!  The kids had a blast climbing the big sand hill, playing in the water and making new friends.
The kids did lots of tubing, and even more swimming.  It was so nice having the pool open this year!
Every night around 8:30 people got in the pool and did a "whirlpool."  It was pretty awesome to watch, and fun to participate in!  The kids all ended up with scraped up feet from the bottom of the pool.  But that didn't stop them from doing it again the next night!
Carson and Christian had fun jumping and doing synchronized dives.  😊
We walked to dinner a couple of nights.  We ate at Tower Pizza one night, and the Sunfire Grill in Sunserra.  There was a cool walking path along the river that was so pretty at sunset.
Of course we had to have ice cream a couple of times.  Delicious!

Lake Cle Elum

We went camping with our neighbors at Lake Cle Elum back in the beginning of August.  We stayed at the Whispering Pines RV resort.  It was our first time there and I was pleasantly surprised!  The sites were spacious and pretty wooded.  There were 2 playgrounds and a great little pond that the kids loved playing in (the above pictures).  There was also a walking trail along the river.
Friday night we drove into Roslyn for dinner.  We stopped by Heritage Distilling for a little tasting.
We ate at a food truck at the Roslyn yard and watched some live music.  The kids played games and ran around the grass area.  It was so much fun!

Saturday we went to Speeyli Beach at Lake Cle Elum.  It was a little windy and chilly, but the kids had a great time swimming and playing in the sand.  The weather didn't bother them one bit.
I just love this lake.  It is absolutely stunning.
The kids rode bikes every evening with their glow sticks while the parents sat around the fire.  They had a blast exploring the campground and running around with their friends.
All in all it was a great trip and we'll definitely be back next year!
