7 sun filled days in Crescent Bar

We just returned from 7 glorious days of fun and sun in Crescent Bar.  This was our 3rd year of going with our friends Tania, Jason and their kids Alexis and Christian.  Its an annual tradition now!
It was great being there for a week.  We had lots of boating time, pool time, and just relaxing time.  It was great having no plans and nowhere to be.
Alexis and Rylee went tubing almost every day, and sometimes multiple times a day.
We went out to dinner twice.  We walked over to Tower Pizza one night, and Sunfire Grill in Sunserra another night.

The kids had ice cream more times than I can count!  Always a treat on vacation.

One of the days started off being overcast, so we headed up to Quincy to go to the public market.  There was a cute little winery there (Jones of Washington) so we had to stop and wine taste!  The rose slushie was delicious!
We took the boat over to the sandbar a few times.  It was fun seeing it get busier throughout the week.  We went Wednesday and there weren't many boats, but by Saturday it was a little crazy.  Great people watching!!
Saturday at the sandbar was great fun.  There was an amazing pontoon boat with a slide.  The owner was so nice and let us all use the slide.  It was so much fun!
Lance and Carson woke up early a few mornings to go fishing.  They had some great luck!  One morning they even caught a king salmon!  Carson had fun learning how to fillet it.
Another great summer trip in the books!  Now back to reality...

Family time at the annual Sequim Craig BBQ

The annual Sequim Craig BBQ was a success!  I skipped this year so I could pack and plan for our Crescent Bar trip, but Lance and the kids went over Friday- Sunday and camped in the backyard.  Saturday morning they hung out at the beach and made a petting zoo 😊
All of Lance's family made it to the BBQ- even his sister and brother-in-law (and kids) from CA.
Aunt Susan and Aunt Patty were there too.  They are the cutest!
All the cousins were there.  They had so much fun playing together!
They discovered a new game- a cross between 4 square and volleyball.  We had to order it as soon as they got home from the BBQ!
Such a great time visiting with family again.  It's fun to watch how much the kids grow and change every year. 💜

Banks Lake

We just returned from 5 nights, 6 days at glorious Banks Lake in Eastern WA.  One of my favorite places of all time.  We went with family this year, including my niece Mira.  We were missing our friends (Elisabeth and Sherman) who have been a staple for years, but they are off living a dream and traveling the country.  It's hard to be mad at that!
We spent most days at "Waikiki beach."  Our normal sandy beach behind Steamboat Rock.  The water is shallow and warm and the beach is sandy and big.  Perfect for relaxing and playing games!
Kennedy loved the water this year.  She was in the water nonstop trying to keep up with Rylee and Carson.
The relaxation station was a hit as usual.
We went to La Presa one night for some delicious Mexican food and margaritas.  Always so good!
The kids went tubing every day, multiple times a day.
Kennedy even went tubing for the first time.  She loved it!
Rylee was all about the water sports this year.  She did some kneeboarding and even tried wakeboarding!
We played holy balls quite a bit.  It's a perfect beach game!  Carson and Grandma ended up winning the championship.  Who would have thought?!?
Harley (Jon and Mandy's new dog) came along for the first time.  She is a great beach dog!  She was pretty chill for the most part.  She loved napping in her beach chair!
The kids spent lots of time with the Grandparents.  💙
They ate a lot of ice cream from the campground store.
Coulee got to come on the boat on our last day.  She loved it and did great.  She even went swimming!
The kids did some cliff jumping in the cutt.
Banks Lake is always an amazing time!  Every year brings new and special memories.  Can't wait for next year!
