9 month stats

Rylee likes to help with the chores as much as possible (especially emtying the dishwasher!)

Rylee had her 9 month check-up recently. Here are her stats:

Weight: 21lb 1oz (75th %)

Length: 29.25 in (95th %)

A fun-filled lake weekend

We had a busy, but fun weekend filled with friends, water and sun. Friday Rylee and I went to Ma and Pa Thomas' for some swimming.

Rylee had so much fun in her new floatie. We had to get some practice in before Banks!

Saturday we went to a pool party for our friend Jason's bday. Michelle, Adam and little Maddie showed up later in the day... a great photo op!

Sunday we went back out on the lake and boated over to Ma and Pa Thomas'.

It was a great day. Got in a little sun, a few drinks, and even some dancing!

We even did some tubing. It was my first time back on the tube since before I was pregnant. Rick was easy on me.... thank goodness!

Lance pulled us over on our new toy... the "relaxation station." Such a great day!

Madeline is here

Our friends Michelle and Adam welcomed their new baby girl, Madeline Rose, on July 4th.

She is just precious. We are so excited to have another baby in our group of friends!

We can't wait to watch her grow up. She and Rylee will be the best of friends..., just like their mommies!

Take me out to the ball game...

Rylee went to her first Mariner's game last week with her uncle's, aunt, dad, and cousins. They didn't win (big surprise), but she still had fun cheering them on. I wish I could have been there!
She even had a cute pink Mariner's outfit.

Another first... camping!

We bought a new tent this spring, so of course Lance and Rylee had to put it together and make sure it would fit all of our essentials... a queen blow-up mattress, a pack n play, and the dog bed!This is us trying it out in the living room. Rylee, and especially Coulee, loved it!

We took our first camping trip this weekend to Lake Chelan. We stayed on Wapato Lake in the town of Manson (about 1o min from Chelan).

We ended up staying and playing on Wapato Lake all weekend. The lake was small, but the water was smooth and we were one of the only speed boats on it.

Lance fished, Coulee swam, and Rylee and I played and sunbathed. At night, we went into the town of Chelan for dinner and exploring.

Rylee loved playing in the tent. She slept pretty well too, lucky for us.

This was the only fish Lance caught all weekend.

Rylee wasn't feeling well Saturday night and Sunday morning, so we ended up leaving earlier then planned. All in all, it was a successful camping trip. We all had fun and can't wait to go to Banks Lake in a few weeks!!

Party time!

Rylee and I went to Michelle's baby shower last weekend. It was so much fun. Michelle is due July 6th, and naming her baby Madeline Rose Wyss. I can't wait for Rylee to have a new BFF! They will be about 9 months apart.

She met a new friend, Stella, at the party. They both had a blast helping Michelle open her baby gifts. They were so much fun to watch!

Up and at 'em

Rylee has only been crawling a couple of weeks, and she gets around everywhere. We have to watch her every move. Now she is also starting to pull herself up on anything available. I think she will be walking in no time! Slow down girl!! We haven't even finished baby-proofing!
She is growing so fast. It amazes me how quickly she learns new things. Every day is a new adventure. She is still such a smiley, happy, content baby. We are so lucky!
