Annual trip to Banks Lake

Banks Lake 2019 is in the books.  We had a fabulous time as always.  5 days full of boating, swimming, fishing, sunning, tubing, wakeboarding and friends.
The weather was a little windier than normal, so the water wasn't as calm as we like.  It was still perfect for swimming, but not so great for water sports.
Our 17 year old niece Mira came with us this year.  Rylee idolizes her, they share the same love of horses and softball.  It was nice to have another girl around to hang with her!
Carson got in lots of naps.  Boat naps are the absolute best!  I didn't mind the extra snuggles.

Cliff jumping above (Carson) and tubing below!

Camping at Bumping River

We had a great weekend camping at Bumping River.  We stayed in a campground called Cougar Flats for the first time.  The kids loved it.  There were big fallen logs all over that they would spend hours walking on and exploring.
They built some great forts.  Their imaginations are just incredible.  One of their forts even had a secret door and an elevator.
We ventured over to the river to explore.  It was cold!  That didn't stop the kids (and Coulee) from swimming!  Brrrrrr......
On the way back  we stopped to do some fishing and hiking.
Such a fun weekend.  We were all exhausted!  💓

Anniversary trip to Suncadia

Lance and I took a trip to Suncadia in Cle Elum to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary.  We'd never been there before so decided to check it out without the kids.  We loved it!  So many things to do on the property.  The above pic was halfway through the 1000 stair challenge.
After taking the stairs down to the river, we walked along a couple of trails and checked out the scenery.  So beautiful!  The climb back up the stairs was a little more challenging.  Thank goodness there was a breeze!
The first night we walked to the amphitheater and enjoyed some live music and people watching.  My fav!
The next morning we decided to take a little walk around the property to explore.  Our "little walk" turned into an 8.5 mile walk with a stop at Nelson Farm pool and the winery for lunch.
Later that day we spent some time by the pool.  We had to check out the water slides (to report back to the kids, of course). 😆 On our walk back to the lodge we stopped to cheers by the fire.  So fun!
That night we had another date night.  (Best thing about kids free trips!!)  After dinner we stopped to check out live music at the winery and our hotel.  I loved that there was live music everywhere.
Before heading home we spent some time at Nelson Farm Pool.

Such a fun and relaxing weekend spent with my love.  Suncadia did not disappoint and I'm already planning another trip back with the kids!
