Sundodgers Pasco tournament

 

Rylee's Sundodgers team competed in the NSA state tournament last weekend in Pasco.  Carson started his All Star tournament at the same time so sadly only Lance was able to go.

Papa Tom and Anna came over from Walla Walla to watch and support Rylee.

Dad and Rylee got some good bonding time in.

They had some free time one day so they hit up a flea market.  They didn't find any treasures but had fun shopping around!

Rylee didn't get a lot of play time, but she did great when she did get to play!  She had 2 hits (above).  The team ended in 7th place out of 29 teams.  Not too shabby!  So proud of this girl. 💖

Last Day of school- 5th and 7th

 

Today was the last day of school!  Rylee finished 7th grade at Lakeridge Middle School, and Carson finished his last year of elementary school at Bonney Lake Elementary (5th grade) 😭

The neighbor boys finished 5th grade as well (except for Eldon, he finished 3rd).

The boys are off to Lakeridge Middle School next year!  I can't believe I'll have 2 in middle school.  How can I be that old already?!

5th grade graduation

 

Carson had his fifth grade graduation ceremony last week.  It was so cute and he was so proud!  Such a smart little guy.  He was in the highly capable program this year for math and finished the year having mastered 6th grade decimals, fractions, volume and variables.

He loved his teacher, Mrs. Martin and had a blast having Landon in his class most years of elementary school (he was in the highly capable program as well).  

Sadly Carson's best buds Landon and Easton will go to Sumner Middle School next year and Carson will be at Lakeridge.  Luckily they live close by so I'm sure we'll still see them a lot.  Plus they all play video games together pretty much every night.  Congrats 5th grade graduates! 🎓

Oklahoma City Tournament

Rylee and Lance went to Oklahoma earlier this month with the Sundodgers for a softball tournament.  

They got to go to see UW play twice at the college world series.  The first game ended early due to lightning, but they got to go back and watch the following day.

They had a lot of fun and did a lot of team bonding.  Dinners out, making Tik Tok videos and taking selfies...

Another game was paused due to lightning nearby.  Luckily Lance had rented an SUV so a lot of the girls could come over and hang out in the car!

The ended up placing 2nd in their bracket.  Nice work Sundodgers!

They collected sand to bring home from the ballfield.  What a fun experience for Rylee.  Lots of memories were made!

The last day Lance and Rylee went to the zoo and science center before flying home.  They had some good bonding time as well. 😊
