Rylee and her BFF Eva turned 16 within a week (ish) of each other. Eva's parents planned to take Eva and Rylee on a special trip to Disney for their birthday celebration. We were so happy when they invited us to tag along too!
We brought a few decorations so we could make their room look extra special.
We stayed in a really cute 4 bedroom house. It had an awesome game room which we only used the first night (we were too busy and tired every other night)! There was also a hot tub that Carson and Rylee used a few times.
We spent 2 days at Disneyland. We had park hopper passes but never actually park hopped! We saw a few characters while we were walking around, Goofy was one of them. Love him!!
Disney is so fun all decked out in Halloween Decor!
There was Coco decor at both parks.
Pirates of the Caribbean is Lance's favorite ride. We went on it 3 times! Lance went on it 4. There is so much to see, every ride you see something you haven't seen before!
The Haunted Mansion is always fun. Its Nightmare Before Christmas themed this time of year. It looks so cool at night!
Toon Town is always fun and so cute.
Gaston was funny.
The kids loved the rides in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The fun drinks and cold brew black caf were delicious. The cold brew had cocoa puffs on top!
The kids went on Millenium Falcon: Smugglers run probably 3 or 4 times.
While the kids were riding the adults checked out Oga's cantina. The drinks were interesting (and $$$) but the atmosphere was really cool
Star Tours was a fun 3D virtual ride. Love the glasses!
We had to visit the Starbucks in both parks (and Downtown Disney) for our caffeine fix. I was hoping they would have a fun cup to buy as a souvenir, but no such luck. They only had a few choices and I didn't like any of them.
The girls met Captain Hook. And of course we had to get a pic in the Roger Rabbit car!
Pics from Space Mountain.
Disney after dark is so much fun!
Obligatory castle pics.
Pics from Rise of the Resistance. That was such a cool ride!
We had to try the Mickey shaped beignets from the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square. We tried the regular and also the pumpkin spice. They were so cute and so delicious... especially dipped in the caramel-coffee sauce. We also shared the cranberry-pomegranate mint julep and the New Orleans mint julep. Both were so good!
We all went on Tiana's bayou in the afternoon so we'd have time to dry off. The kids and Jason (Eva's Dad) discovered there was no line around 9pm so they ended up going on it 4-5 more times. They were soaked!
Downtown Disney was so festive to walk through. We ate lunch there one day to escape the craziness of the park.
We caught the Paint the Night parade a little bit both nights we were there. We didn't stand and watch the whole parade but we caught most of it while we were walking around.
We caught a few minutes of the Fantasmic show in New Orleans Square. It was projections over the water with fireworks in the background. It was amazing!
We had an amazing time. Our favorite rides were the Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Indiana Jones and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway.
