Quick trip to Bend to see Old Dominion

Old Dominion is one of my favorite bands, so when I heard they were playing in Bend, OR we had to get tickets.  It was a good excuse to take a weekend trip and also see some family.
The concert was at the Hayden Homes amphitheater,  it was such a cool venue!  It was a beautiful evening and the venue was right on the river.  We stayed at the hotel right next to it which was so convenient.  It was great to walk to and from the show and not have to worry about parking.
It was an amazing concert.  They always put on such a great show.

The next day we hiked to Tumalo falls.  The falls were gorgeous.  We also did a little walk along the river, Kona loved it!
We ended the day with refreshing beverages and lunch at the Bend Brewing Co. and then listened to some music in the park with Lance's brother Aaron.
There are so many walking paths, beautiful flowers and fun scenery along the river.  It was nice to walk in the morning while the kids slept in.
The following day we floated the Deschutes river.  It was a blast!  Our favorite part were the little rapids.  Afterwards we stopped for a cold beverage at Silver Moon Brewing.
Later that evening we went to Julie's for some tacos and margaritas.  On our way out of town we stopped by Americana (the food truck where Jack works) for a delicious smash burger before heading home.
