Winter festivities

Lance and I went to the MJ musical at the Paramount.  It was amazing!!!  The music and the dancing was unbelievable.  I think it was the best musical I've seen!

Rylee went to the Christmas Market with her friend Eva.  They had fun wandering around and trying different German foods.  They ended the evening looking at holiday lights in Seattle.
Rylee, Eva abd us Mom's went to the Macklemore concert at Climate Pledge.  It was so much fun!  I love being in Seattle around Christmas with all the lights and festivities.  And it was a great concert!
Our friend Tad was visiting from Illinois for the Seahawks game so Lance got to spend some time with him.  We miss The Millers!
Just a couple pics of our new little baby, Kona.  She is the cutest!
We went Axe throwing at Casting Iron for our friend Travis' birthday.  Always a good time with these people!
I met up with my best friends for a "Galentine's" lunch at Din Thai Fung.  So good!
We went to Steel Creek to celebrate Toby Keith's life.  It was fun watching everyone line dance, but they did not play nearly enough Toby Keith music!

Happy 12th Birthday Carson

Happy birthday Carson!  Started out with Denny's breakfast with Dad and ended the day at Sumo Sushi with his friend Alden.  We didn't do too much on his actual birthday since we went on a ski weekend to celebrate the weekend before.  I can't believe my baby boy is 12!!

Girls trip to San Antonio

I just got back from a last minute trip to San Antonio to visit my friend Elisabeth.  She texted me one day and mentioned that my favorite band Old Dominion was going to be performing at the rodeo.  I was immediately in!
I arrived on a Wednesday evening.  We started with margaritas at a Tiny Cantina, and then had dinner at Yardhouse.  Then back to the hotel for some girl time and catching up.
The next day we did some shopping and had lunch at Box Street Social.  It was such a cute place!
We stayed at The Menger Hotel behind the Alamo.  We stayed in the "Gustav Heinrich Schmeltzer Suite" which was huge!  We had a great time listening to music and getting ready for the concert.
The concert was great!  Lots of people left after the rodeo so we were able to move closer to the band.  Old Dominion was amazing as always and played all my favorite songs.  The first song was a tribute to Toby Keith.  RIP.

We spent the last day walking around and exploring the San Antonio riverwalk.
We had an adult capri sun at a fun bar called Elsewhere and then walked to a taco truck selling birria tacos.  Yummmmmm.
So much fun!!  Cheers to girl time and being spontaneous!

B-Day trip to White Pass

For Carson's birthday this year he wanted to go on a ski trip with the family.  We rented a really cute cabin in the woods and spent 2 beautiful days skiing at White Pass.
The kids had a ski lesson the first day which really helped their confidence.  The rest of the day they were beating us down the hills.
There wasn't much new snow but we made the most of it!  The weather was perfect.
There were elk right by the roads to greet us every morning and evening.
The cabin had a cute little hot tub in the back which was perfect to soothe our sore legs after skiing.
It was a great weekend making memories with the family.  Happy early birthday Carson! 🎂

Carson's First Band Concert

Synergy March

Court of the Noble Trumpeteers

The Banana Boat Song
Carson had his first band concert last night.  It was great!!  Its amazing how one band teacher can teach 102 brand new band students how to play instruments and have them sound this good after only 5 months!  I may be biased but I though the trumpet section sounded the best!🎺So proud of my boy!
