Coulee bear

We had to say goodbye to our Coulee Bear on November 18th, 2022.
She had been declining over the past couple of years, but she really took a turn for the worst on her last week.  Her back legs were always weak, but one of her front legs started giving out as well.  We didn't want her to get hurt or suffer.
It was hard saying goodbye of course, but we had 14 great years with her.  She was an amazing dog.  She was always up for any adventure.
She loved swimming and going on the boat.  She used to launch off of our friends dock (picture above) and then she was even able to climb the ladder to get back on the dock.  She could also climb up our boat ladder.  It was pretty impressive.  She loved chasing sticks (not balls) and beach walking.  At my parents house she would stick her head under the water, grab a rock, and then chew off all the barnacles.  She loved camping, hiking, and car rides.  She was the perfect dog for our family.
She loved her family and friends fiercely.  She was our protector and never let us out of her sight.  We will miss her so much!
