Carson's baseball team had tournaments scheduled both weekends surrounding Spring Break so we weren't able to do a big trip this year. But we still wanted to get away! We decided to escape to Leavenworth for a few days. Kona's first camping trip!
We camped at the KOA right outside of town. It was great! The campground was huge! There was hardly anyone there so the kids had free rein of the campground.
There was a little trail by the river that the kids loved taking Kona on. She even jumped in the river for the first time!
We went on the alpine coaster for the first time. It was so much fun! Beautiful views from the top of the coaster. We did it twice!
We had fun wandering around town, eating taffy, fudge and giant pretzels.
Lance and I snuck away to Icicle Brewing one night for a little date night. I had no idea it was such a cute place!
The kids rode on the pump track for hours and played on the playground with Kona. I think Kona had a great first camping experience!
