A weekend of wedding adventures
It was fun spending the whole weekend with family. The cousin's got to play together and the adults got to chit chat and catch up. Rylee was a little angel all weekend. She was such a trooper letting every one hold her and snuggle her. Sunday, March 7, 2010
A beautiful weekend.

What a beautiful weekend. We enjoyed the sun by taking many walks to the lake (both Lake Tapps and Lake Bonney). Rylee loves taking walks, both in her stroller and in her front pack. She usually lasts about half the walk before falling asleep!Thursday our day care provider came down with pneumonia and couldn't watch Rylee. We had to quickly scramble to find someone to watch her, or call in sick... again! We called on Rylee's favorite babysitters- Janice (aka Ma Thomas) and Nory. Luckily they were available. Rick even stopped by to keep Coulee company. We are so fortunate to have such great friends that will drop things at a moments notice for us. (It helps that they are retired). Thank you so much guys! Rylee loves you both so much. They have already taught her to hold a ski rope, dance, and play cards! =)
We are again having day care issues. I have come to believe that it is never ending. The assistant that our day care provider hired is no longer working there. So... we are back to having to pick up Rylee at 5:30. Lance is able to get off work early this month, but who knows about next month. We have called pretty much every day care provider in this area. Lance thinks every thing will work itself out, so I am trying not to worry about it.

Bath time
I am a firm believer in "everything happens for a reason." Yesterday Dee from our current day care called and said that she hired a new assistant and would now be able to watch Rylee until 6:30 at no extra charge. This is amazing news! Rylee really enjoys going to day care and playing with all the kids there, and Dee really does love her a lot. So our day care troubles are over for now. Phew! I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders! The above pic is of Rylee in the bath yesterday. She loves bath time!! Usually she takes a shower with her dad, so it's a special treat when she actually gets to sit in her whale tub and play. Look at that belly!

Back to the beginning... again!
On another sad note, last night at work a relatively healthy 16 year old girl died. It was a very sad night for every one. It makes me realize that even when I think I have stress and problems, I have nothing compared to what her family is going through. Life is waaaaay too short. We all need to cherish every single moment and memory, because you never know what the future holds for us. As I sit here holding my baby girl in my arms, I can only hope that God's plan for her includes a long, healthy life full of love and happiness. I love you Rylee! And I pray for the family of that beautiful girl, may you find comfort in each other.
