Rylee played JV basketball this year. They did great and they were always so exciting to watch. They only lost 2 games. Go Hawks!
Rylee also played parks and rec volleyball on a team she's been playing with for a few years. Every practice was loud and crazy. They had a great season and only lost one game! Great job Sirens!
They started having school dances again this year. Rylee is on ASB and had to "work" the first 2 dances. At this dance her job was to accompany the Hawk mascot and keep people from jumping all over him. 🤣
Ariya had a winter birthday, and Rylee got to go to Red Robin to celebrate before a volleyball game. Lucky! They look a lot alike in this picture.
The boys have been walking to and from school this year. This morning our neighbor Angie made them all hot cocoa to go. It was pajama day at school so they all brought stuffed animals to school as well.
The kids and I went shopping in downtown Sumner during winter break. We ate lunch at Eternal Soul bowl and had acai bowls... so good!
Carson had a sleepover with his buddies Landon and Easton during winter break. So much fun!
Carson went to a couple of baseball camps during winter break with his friend Landon. They are so adorable!
Carson's baseball team had a bowling get together. It was a great way for the boys to bond and have some fun outside of the ball field!
My friend Wendy came to visit recently from Michigan. We got together with Tania for brunch one day, and then another night Lance and I took her to an axe throwing place in Enumclaw. It was so much fun! We also checked out this cute speakeasy for some delicious drinks.
Carson had a field trip to Biztown for school. Its a little "town" with businesses that the kids work at for the day. They learn how the business works and they also get paychecks which they can then spend in the town. Carson was a bank teller at BECU, and his buddy Landon was the CFO at BECU. He was busy because all the kids had to come to him to deposit their paychecks and withdrawal money from their accounts. The kids all dressed up and looked so cute! I got to volunteer and "work" at a credit union where the kids came to open savings accounts. It was one of the most challenging volunteer opportunities, I've done, but was also a lot of fun!
Carson just finished basketball season for Parks and Rec. Sadly, he was only able to make a few practices and only one game due to baseball conflicts and our trip to Mexico. But the last game was great! He played well and made at least 8 points for the team. Of course we had to celebrate the win with his coach and some Menchies!
We took the kids to see the Cirque Du Soleil show Corteo at Climate Pledge Arena. It's always a great show and a fun tradition.Lance took us to a fun sushi restaurant in Bellevue where a robot delivered drinks and the sushi was on a conveyor belt. The kids thought it was so cool!
Lance took the kids skiing up at Snoqualmie Pass. They did great! They keep asking to go again... if only there was more time in between baseball/ softball!
