Fun and Sun in Puerto Vallarta

We had an amazing trip to Puerto Vallarta this February.  Mandy and Jon got married at Las Caletas in PV 10 years ago, so they decided the best way to celebrate their 10 year anniversary was to invite everyone back!  Lots of people came to celebrate and many had kids to bring along!
We stayed at the Sunscape PV all inclusive Resort and Spa.  There was a gorgeous pool and also a kids area with lots of waterslides.  There were many restaurants on site- Italian, Mexican, Seafood, and a buffet.  We tried them all!  The hotel had many activities during the day and shows every night.
One of my favorite things about going to Mexico is the sunsets.  The kids loved staying on the beach and in the ocean until the sun went down.
One of the couples rented jet skis, so Carson and Lance were able to go out on them for a bit.  They had a blast!
There were a lot of kids in our group!  This is only some of them.  They all loved playing together.  They thought Rylee and Carson were the coolest!
This group shot is missing a few as well.  We weren't very good about taking pictures... especially group pictures!  I guess that means we were having too much fun.
The kids spent a lot of time on the waterslides.  It was great to have another option for them.  The green slide was pretty fun (until we got kicked off for being too big!)
All the little kids wanted to hang out with Rylee.  She loved all the attention!
Rylee got a henna tattoo on the beach one day.  It was really pretty and lasted a couple of weeks.  She was able to come back and show all her friends at school.  😊
At night after the shows we would get the kids into bed and meet in the VIP "Sunclub" area.  They made the best margaritas there!
It was the first trip where we never even left the resort!  There was so much to do at the hotel, and so many friends to talk to, there was no need to leave!  The pool and beach were enough for us.  It was a great time!  Now back to the cold and snow of Seattle.... ❆
