Memorial weekend in Minnesota

My grandparents are having a joint 90/ 95th birthday this summer that we unfortunately can't make, so we decided to make a special trip to Minnesota to visit and spend some one on one time.  The kids loved driving Papa Willlis' go cart around the neighborhood!  Carson had to try out the 3 wheel bike as well.
We got to spend some time with Uncle Brad, Aunt Barb, Cousin Brett and his girlfriend Carolyn, and Cousin Barry.
We definitely had to make a stop at Carl's bakery in Granite Falls for some coffee and long johns.  So delicious!  I also made the kids take a pic in front of the Hazel Run church where they were both baptized.  Its over 100 years old!
Downtown Granite Falls is so cute.  There are murals by the river, some cute shops, and this popcorn stand that is open nightly from 7-9:30pm.  Its been there for 104 years!
The kids loved Uncle Brad's 4 wheeler and side by side.  They'd ride for hours all over the farm.  This was probably their favorite part of the visit.
We also went over to Willis' son Shannon's farm and tried out his toys too, I just didn't take any pics there.
Had to check out Papa Willis' tractors too.
This was my Great Grandpa Milford's truck.  It has a start button in the floor!  So cool.  And it's still so pretty!
Kids with Uncle Brad.
Went to the old playground in Hazel Run and also went to a Memorial Day service in City Hall.
We played lots of cards with the Grandparents.  My favorite!
Visited my Grandpa Duane's gravesite and also my Great Grandparent's grave site.
My Aunt Barb had gas rations that belonged to my Great Grandpa Milford.  She also had both my Great Grandparents baptism certificates.  They were both baptized in the Hazel Run church, in 1909 and 1912.  These are such cool pieces of history!
We had such a great visit and loved spending time with family.  I wish we lived closer!
