High School Ball- Sophomore year as a BLHS Panther

Sophomore year of softball has come to a close.  There were lots of ups and downs during the season but I hope it will ultimately make her a better player and person.

She had fun with the girls.  They were constantly laughing and dancing and making tik tok videos during downtime.
She started out the season playing 3rd, then was moved to "designated player," which basically meant she could play any position they needed her to.  She played some 2nd, 3rd and shortstop, but she mostly just batted.  She was a little bummed she didn't get more playtime on the field.  The coaches seemed to have their "favorites" and unfortunately Rylee wasn't one of them.
She was one of the best hitters on the team.  She hit some bombs and made some headlines.
The team did great at districts and even made it to state!
The state tournament was in the Tri-Cities.  The girls fought hard but ended up losing their first 2 games.  Her Avengers coach Brett and Papa Tom both came to cheer her on.
She had lots of other fans come watch during the season.  Kennedy was the cutest fan!
She made "2nd team designated player" for the South SPSL.  All 1st and 2nd teams got to participate in an all star game.  It was a total joke and she barely got any playtime.  Big waste of time.  At least now we know for next year!

Below is a pic of her with her best buds on the team and their end of season awards.  All in all it was a memorable season, and we hope next year will be even better!
