Sundodgers- Space Coast World Series Tournament

 

The Sundodgers played in the Space Coast World Series tournament on April 20/21.  They tried their best and ended up second place in the silver bracket.

Rylee played some great games, made some awesome plays and even got a GRAND SLAM!!!  Her first over the fence home run EVER.  It was even sweeter that it was against a team that she really isn't wild about.  We are so proud of that girl!!! 🥎

Grandma and Papa were there to watch and support.

Avengers- JR 42 Tournament

 

The Avengers played in the JR 42 tournament on April 13/14.  They played great and ended up as silver bracket champions!  He even had a few visitors to watch the games.

Grandma and Papa came to the Saturday games, and Mathew made an appearance on Sunday.  He must have been good luck!

Another medal to add to the collection!🏅

Spring Break 2024- Leavenworth

 

Carson's baseball team had tournaments scheduled both weekends surrounding Spring Break so we weren't able to do a big trip this year.  But we still wanted to get away!  We decided to escape to Leavenworth for a few days.  Kona's first camping trip!

We camped at the KOA right outside of town.  It was great!  The campground was huge!  There was hardly anyone there so the kids had free rein of the campground.

There was a little trail by the river that the kids loved taking Kona on.  She even jumped in the river for the first time!  

We went on the alpine coaster for the first time.  It was so much fun!  Beautiful views from the top of the coaster.  We did it twice!

We had fun wandering around town, eating taffy, fudge and giant pretzels.

Lance and I snuck away to Icicle Brewing one night for a little date night.  I had no idea it was such a cute place!

The kids rode on the pump track for hours and played on the playground with Kona.  I think Kona had a great first camping experience!

Avengers- PNW Futures Tournament

The first 2 tournaments for Carson's team in March were cancelled due to rain and snow.  They were finally able to play in the PNW Futures tournament on April 6/7.  If was rainy and windy but the boys played great!  They ended up placing second place in gold bracket.  Go Avengers!🙌

Sundodgers- Medal of Honor Tournament

 One of the parents on Rylee's team is a photographer, so she has been taking pics of the girls at the games.  I love them so much!

The girls played in the "Medal of Honor" tournament in March in North Bend.  They didn't do as well as they hoped, but they had fun and had some quality time together as a team.

It rained all of Saturdays games.  Aunt Shirley and Uncle Bret braved the rain to come support Rylee.  Sunday was a much better day, we even got some sunshine!

Kona was there to cheer them on!  She loves being their mascot.

Lance loves making montage videos of all the hits.  Below are some of the pics Megan took for the team.  I love them!
