Family photos 2017

A couple of months ago my friend Michelle took some family pictures of us.  She is such a talented photographer.  I absolutely love the way they turned out.  Thanks Michelle!

Christmas visit to Gramma J

We just returned from a quick visit to Corvallis to see our favorite Gramma J.
The weather was sunny but cold, so it allowed us to get outside a little.  Gramma took the kids on their first bus ride into town.  They thought it was pretty cool.  Carson especially liked riding in a seat all by himself.
Carson had a blast riding on the back of Gramma J's wheelchair.  Rylee was a little to tall to ride this year, but Carson loved "pushing" Gramma around.
The visit was short but I think Gramma enjoyed getting some kiddo snuggles for Christmas!  And no Corvallis trip is complete without some time in the hotel pool!

Holiday festivities

It's been a busy holiday season so far (as usual).  I had a girls night out with my friends recently and we met for dinner/ drinks and went to see Bads Mom's Christmas.  How fitting!  🙂
Mom, Mandy and our family got together for our annual cookie baking.  Us girls started the day shopping in down town Sumner while the kids were in school.  We met up with the kids shortly after school got out and spent the rest of the night making snowballs, candy canes and magic bars.  YUMMM!
Look at Mandy's pregnant belly!  I love it.   It's even cuter when she holds her belly and says "ho ho ho."
Last weekend we went out to the beach house to enjoy the sun and watch the annual Shelton boat parade.  It was cold but so beautiful.  The kids spent hours playing outside on the beach.
We made more cookies!  This time we made sugar cookies and decorated them.  Delicious!
We watched the boat parade by a bonfire.  There were only 6 boats this year but it was still so fun to watch.
Carson also spent a lot of time fishing.  Like Father like son!

Turkey Day 2017

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in Bend, Oregon at Lance's brother Aaron's house.  It was fun to get away for the weekend and Bend is such a fun city.  Unfortunately there was no snow yet, but we did get some sunny weather to play outside and explore a little.  We went for a family walk around the Deschutes river and I even got to do some shopping.  Score!  No tax!
The cousins had a great time playing together.  Ace and Carson are seriously BFFs.  We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful family.  Happy Thanksgiving!
