Visiting Thomas the Train

It's time again to visit Thomas the Train!  He comes once a year to the Northwest Railway Museum and we just had to go again!  Carson is still a Thomas fan (or really, a fan of trains in general) and he was SO excited this year, even more than last year.  From the minute he woke up he was asking when we were going to see Thomas.  We all had fun riding the trains, jumping in the bouncy house, watching a puppet show, and doing all the other Thomas themed activities.
After seeing Thomas the Train we went to eat at a little brewery and then went to play at Snoqualmie Falls.  We hiked down a little farther than last year but still didn't make it to the bottom.  Carson still had to be carried halfway up.  Maybe we'll make it next year!

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated 4th of July and my Mom's 60th birthday with a weekend at the beach house.  Mandy and Jon came for a couple days also but I didn't get any photos of them.  We all surprised my Mom with a paddle board and as you can see by the pictures, it was a big hit!  The weekend was super hot so we spent the majority of our time in the water or playing on the water.  The water was really warm too so the kids were able to do lots of swimming.

My Dad recently got a new boat so we had to check it out.  The kids and Coulee (and us of course) had a blast cruising around the Puget Sound.
On the 4th we went over to a party one of my parent's neighbor was throwing and then came back to the beach house to enjoy the fireworks.  The neighbors on both sides of the house had pretty amazing displays, and there were a few good shows across the water as well.  It was hard to know where to watch... over there, no, over there!!
