Naches River camping

We took a quick overnight trip to the Naches River this weekend for some camping, fishing and playing in the river.
We even took Coulee with us.  She surprised us by being on her best behavior.  She had a blast and wore herself out swimming and chasing sticks.  I see more camping trips in her future!
Lance caught lots of fish but this one was his favorite!
On the way back we stopped at Chinook Pass and hiked part of the Pacific Crest Trail.  It was beautiful and such a fun hike.  I can't wait to go back and hike a little farther.
The kids were excited to see some snow!
Another fun and adventurous weekend in the books.
Love this life!

A visit from the tooth fairy

Rylee lost her first tooth this week.  Pretty exciting!  I wish it was her gray tooth on the top (it died after a fall and smashed mouth earlier this year).  Oh well, it will fall out soon enough I guess.  Her adult tooth on the bottom is already coming in and it's pretty big so I'm sure it will knock out the two teeth surrounding it.  She made a special envelope to leave for the tooth fairy (see below) and was very excited that she was left 2 dollar bills and a silver dollar under her pillow.  She's already trying to decide what she will buy!

Birthday Beach Time

Lance's 39th (yes I said 39th!!!!!) birthday was last weekend so the kids and I took him to Cannon beach.  It was beautiful and sunny but still windy on the beach.  Good kite flying weather!
The kids loved playing on the beach, jumping and running from the waves.  We dug lots of sand holes, made some sand creatures and even buried Carson.  We played at the park, explored the little town, and did lots of swimming in the hotel pool.
Happy birthday to one amazing Daddy and husband.  I love all the adventures we share.  Cheers!

Beautiful Spring

We've been having lots of fun in the sun.  It's been the most amazing spring and we have been enjoying every minute of it! Lots of house and yard projects, but lots of playtime too.  I have a feeling it will be a glorious summer!!!  (Now if we can just get some water in Lake Tapps!!)
We took the boat to American Lake for a day a couple of weekends ago.  Lance did some fishing, I did some relaxing, and the kids did some swimming (brrrr!).
