Great start to summer

We've had an amazing start to our summer vacation.
Friday afternoon was cloudy and rainy, so the kids had a great day playing together inside the house.
We had to go check out "Finding Dory."  It was super cute!  The kids loved it.
Saturday afternoon was really busy.  We started the day at a birthday party and later went to a graduation party.  That evening we went to check out an old fashioned carnival in Buckley.  The kids rode tons of rides and had an absolute blast.
The kids spent many hours this weekend playing in the pool.  The slide is actually really fast so it's perfect to end up in the water.
After Lance got home from work today we packed up the boat and headed out to the lake.  The kids had their first tube of the season!  Carson was a little nervous and wanted to go really slow.  Rylee was a total daredevil!  She wanted to go faster and faster, and in and out of the wake.  She almost flipped the tube once and wasn't even scared!  She is going to be crazy by the end of the summer!

Last day of Kindergarten!

1st Day of Kindergarten                             Last day of Kindergarten
Today was Rylee's last day of kindergarten.  I picked her up from school (it was a half day) and she met me outside and was crying!  I was surprised at this and asked her what was wrong,  She said she was going to miss her teacher and friends so much!  This girl has the biggest heart.  I felt so sad for her!  I took her mind off of it by letting her pick where we went for lunch.  She picked "Old MacDonald" (McDonalds), so we celebrated the end of the year with cheeseburgers.  After that we got her hair cut, nails and toes done, and bought a new bike.  When Lance and Carson got home we went out for dinner.  I'd say it was a successful day!  I can't believe I officially have a 1st grader!!!

Happy Daddy's Day!

We spent Father's Day doing things to make Lance happy.  First he got "breakfast on the couch," followed by lots of snuggles.  Carson was so mad that Lance got up earlier then us so he wasn't able to bring him breakfast in bed.  Next, he got to open his gifts (lots of homemade cards and pictures and lots of yummy goodies.)
We spent the rest of the day out on the lake, fishing and enjoying the sunshine.  It was a little bit chilly, but the kids didn't mind.  They even jumped in a couple of times.
Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy ever!  This little guy loves you so much and wants to be just like you.  Rylee adores you and wants to make you proud.  You bring so much love, fun and adventure to our family.   We love you so much!

Congratulations Jessica!

We spent the last weekend in Sequim, celebrating our niece Jessica who graduated high school.  She was one of 6 valedictorians of her school, a state swimmer, and has her private pilots licence.  She is pretty amazing.  She will be going to UW in the fall.  GO HUSKIES!
It was so much fun having the family all together.  Rylee and Carson played nonstop with their cousins and were exhausted every night.  The Sequim Craig's have an awesome backyard... they have a trampoline and a zip line.  It doesn't get more fun than that!  Grandma J stayed in a hotel with a pool so one morning we visited for a swim.
Rylee had a blast playing with their dog, Cody.  He liked to get on the trampoline with everyone and chase balls nonstop!  He was very patient and sweet with the kids.  Carson kept saying he wanted to "trample," ("Mom, will you trample with me?")  It was the cutest thing ever!  Peter gave a great speech at Jessica's graduation party.  He even brought out an alarm clock that was given to him for his graduation, and he still uses it daily!
Rylee was thrilled to see cousin Mira on Sunday.  She loves her and looks up to her so much.
Next year cousin Ryan is graduating.  We can't wait to make a trip to Carmel, CA to celebrate him!
Cousin Mathew (he's 16) was awesome about letting the kids wrestle and play with him.
All the cousin's on the Craig side.  Love them!
Congratulations Jessica!  We are so proud of you!
Had to show a video of Carson's first time on the zip line.  He loved it!

Over the Hill

Lance turned 40 yesterday so we had a big birthday celebration.  It was a great turn out.  The kids kept cool by playing in the 3 pools, and the adults were able to relax and visit.  We even had a holy balls tournament.  The Rychlinski's won... again.  =)
My birthday card to him said it perfectly "Look at the bright side, you're as hot as two 20 year olds!"
Happy birthday Lance.  You are officially "Over the Hill!"

Rylee and Rain

Rylee had an awesome riding lesson this week.  She rode Rain all by herself.  She is getting much more confident and is improving so much.  She told her instructor that one day she is going to live on a farm and have horses and goats.  =)
