Merry Christmas 2023

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!
Mandy and Jon hosted their annual Christmas Eve Party.  It was a smaller group this year.  Jon's Dad recently had a hip surgery and was home recovering, and his sisters had other family plans.  It was still a great time!  The smaller group gave us more time to catch up with Harry, Nory, Aly and Jay.

The kids played the saran wrap ball game and the adults did the annual gift exchange.
It was a great night!
Carson has recently become somewhat of a barista.  I won an iced coffee maker at the Christmas Eve gift exchange and Carson was very excited to try it out.  He made me an iced coffee on Christmas Day and it was delicious!
Christmas Day was relaxing and filled with family, games, and good food.  I didn't take many pictures because I was busy enjoying the day.  And celebrating Papa's B-Day!

Holiday Traditions

It's always fun using a ladder to decorate the tree!
Our neighbor Barb loves having the kids over to decorate cookies.  It's a holiday tradition!  They sing carols and take fun pictures.  We have the best neighbors!

One of my favorite traditions is cookie baking with my mom, sister and niece!  We always make candy canes, snowballs, sugar cookies and magic bars.  Yummmm!
We took Kona and Tanner (we were dog sitting again) on our annual outing to see holiday lights.  Kona loved it!

Welcome Kona

We got a puppy!  Lance surprised us all the week before my birthday.  She's a mini bernedoodle and she's the cutest little thing!
She loves to play and bite and she's wild... but then she's so sweet and cuddly!  She's smart and has already learned a few tricks.  We love her!
She's been going to Carson's baseball practice to cheer on the team.  She's such a cute little mascot!

Fall 2023

Fall has been a fun season for concerts.  Lance and I went to see Tyler Hubbard at the fair.  It was a "Dancing in the dirt" concert which was fun to be so close to the stage.  There was some great people watching!
Obligatory school pics.  They turned out great this year!
We went to see Morgen Wallen at the Tacoma Dome with some friends.  The concert was so great but the dome was so incredibly crowded!  I've never seen it like that and that part wasn't fun.  The lines for beer and the bathroom were insane!  An Uber home cost us $180 😒
Kennedy hung out with us one night while her parents went to a concert.  We made some delicious cookies with lots of sprinkles!
Rylee did her annual fall trip to the pumpkin patch with Ariya and Eva.  The Moms and Carson also tagged along!  We had fun with all the photo ops.  We also did the Hocus Pocus themed corn maze.  It was a beautiful day!
We hosted our yearly Halloween party this year and this is the only picture I got!
We saw Old Dominion at Climate Pledge in November.  They were amazing as always!
Carson's baseball team helped with the Big Give.  It was really cold, but a great experience for them!
Rylee played on the varsity basketball team for school this year.  The Hawks did great! They ended the season with 9 wins and only 1 loss to Glacier.  Rylee was voted the most improved player! 🙌
Carson was one of the basketball managers.  He went to all the games and helped with keeping stats.
Rylee also played volleyball through Parks and Rec.  Her friend Ariya's mom coached.  The team didn't do so great but they had a lot of fun!
Rylee got her 2nd set of braces on in October.  I think it makes her look younger... I love it!
