She made her cake herself and was very proud. She helped my parents' neighbor with a yard sale recently and found some cake pans and cupcake holders. She had been looking forward to making her own cake and cupcakes for weeks. She did a great job! Kennedy loved helping open gifts.
She started the morning of her birthday with a doughnut from Legendary Doughnuts. Yummm. She had a great day at virtual school. Her class sang to her and asked her all about her bday plans. She got an early birthday surprise... A new desk for her doll! Now they can do schoolwork together. =)
These are the cupcakes she decorated. So cute. Her friends loved them! After school on Friday her friends Alexis and Madeline came over for some pinata fun and Red Robin. What a great day!
Rylee turned 11 this weekend! She had a 3 day celebration. 😊 On Thursday she was pampered with a haircut and style. That evening Aunt Mandy, Uncle Jon and Kennedy came over for dinner, cake and celebrating.
The moms got to catch up while the kids played. Fun for all!
Saturday Lance took Rylee on an overnight camping trip. That was her big request for her birthday. I'll post pics on that next.
All in all it was a great birthday celebration weekend! It looked a little different because of all the covid restrictions, but we tried to make the most of it. I still can't believe my smiley Rylee is 11! 💓
