Belated birthday skating and sleepover

I know it's really late, but we finally had Rylee's birthday sleepover.  She's been really into skating lately so she chose to take her friends to Tiffanys Skate Inn in Puyallup.  The kids had a blast skating in the black lights to the music, watching the races, and doing the hokey pokey.
I'm not gonna lie, us mom's had fun skating too!
After skating we went back to our house for tacos, cupcakes and lots of playtime.  There were a few arguments between the girls, but all in all they got along and had a great time.  Typical girls- always some sort of drama!  😇 The boys spent most of the night in Carson's room playing legos.
We were all tired the next day as bedtime was not until almost midnight (for the kids), and the moms stayed up even later gossiping.  Wouldn't be so bad except the boys woke up up around 7:30.  Ugh.

Here's a quick peek at the kids' sweet skating skills.  😉

Fall fun

Lance and I had a date night 💙 to see Garth Brooks at the Tacoma Dome last Saturday.  We had so much fun.  He put on a great show!

My girlfriends and I took all the kids to see Disney on Ice at Showare center in Kent.  The kids were all mesmerized by the Disney characters ice skating and had so much fun together watching the show.
We had our hands full with 6 kiddos so were happy to discover that they served wine!  A must have for stressed out mommas!  🍷
We also had our first snow!  So crazy that it is snowing in early November.  So pretty.  ❅
Another video of Carson's sweet dance moves.  Unfortunately, he recently dropped out of his hip hop dance class ( he didn't like being the only boy in class).  As you can see he is pretty talented!

Happy Halloween 2017

Halloween was kind of a downer this year.  Lance was in Tulsa for a work trip (although he went out with co-workers, see picture below), and Rylee and Carson were just getting over being sick.  They were both in good spirits at the beginning of the night.  They both loved putting their vampire make-up on and had fun trick-or-treating to 3 of their favorite houses in the neighborhood.  After that, Rylee didn't feel well and ended up coming home to help hand out candy.  Luckily, my mom was here and able to take Carson around the rest of the neighborhood.  We only got one group of trick-or-treaters this year.  What a bummer!  We ended the night over at Mandy and Jons house for some chili and family time.
