Fall Fun

We've done some fun things this fall...

I went to Scottsdale in September for our annual girls trip.  We stayed at the Scottsdale Plaza resort again and it was just as great as I remember!  We ate amazing food, spent lots of time in the pool and enjoyed the sun and palm trees.
One of the best places we ate was Culinary Dropout in Old Town.  It was such a cool atmosphere and the food was delish.
I took the kids to the fair for some rides and fair food (we ate scones and elephant ears!)  Rylee wanted to go on the Kamikazee for the first time and Carson wasn't tall enough yet so she waited in line and went on it all alone.  She was so brave.  I was so proud of her!  She was not thrilled to have her picture taken.  😂
Lance and I went back to the Fair for a concert.  It rained while we were walking around the fair and for the opener, but stopped right before Old Dominion came on.  It was a great show.  They are one of my favorite bands!
Angie/ Jeanna/ Tania and I went to see Pitbull at the White River Amphitheater.  I love that venue, although its always an adventure trying to catch an Uber to get out of there!
Carson's friend Weilan performed in a play and invited him and Bryce to watch.  It was cute seeing them supporting their friend.
My neighbor Angie and I went on a hike during the first week back at school, the Fall colors were so beautiful!
I made the kids take some pictures with the fall decor at Farm 12.  They weren't thrilled but obliged for me. 🍂
Rylee went to her friend Eva's birthday at Board and Brush.  She made a cute box to hold her scrunchies.  What a fun idea for a birthday!
We went to see Walker Hayes at Steel Creek with some friends and Mandy/ Jon.  It was a great show and so much fun to hang out with good friends again!
Rylee went to Spooner Farms with her friends Eva and Ariya (and Ariya's sister).  The did the corn maze, ate dingleberries and took lots of pictures!  They had so much fun.

Baseball and Fastpitch

Rylee just finished up her 1st fastpitch season as a middle schooler!  There weren't enough girls to have both a JV and Varsity team so all the girls got to be Varsity.  They all did really well.  I am so impressed with how much Rylee has improved.  It may have helped that she played spring little league, summer softball, and then fastpitch for the school.  She really had a great time all seasons and made some friends too.  Lakeridge ended the season with 5 wins, 3 losses.  Go Hawks!
Carson just ended his baseball season as well.  He played spring ball, summer ball and then fall ball.  He kicked butt as a pitcher and had some great hits.  He improved a lot over the 3 seasons and had some fun too.

Deception Pass

Our last camping trip of the year was to Deception Pass.  It was a rainy weekend, but we still decided to get away.  Saturday was windy but nice so we spent the day exploring the state Park.  We did a long beach walk, found some mushrooms that belong in a story book and then had dinner at a cute Mexican place.
Carson and Rylee built a pretty awesome fort.  I love how creative they can be when they want to be!
