Lazy holiday weekend

We spent Memorial day weekend at the beach house with my parents.  It was rainy for most of the weekend, but that just made for more lazy, relaxing days.  We played lots of cards, went for a couple of walks in between rain, ate delicious meals (thanks Mom!), and even made it to the pool for a couple of hours.  Monday was beautiful and sunny so we got in some fishing and beach time.  All in all it was a great weekend.
Rainy day s'mores on the campfire.

Taking a beach walk in between rain showers.
Finally some fun in the sun!

3 teeth lost = Rylee is rich!

Rylee has had loose top teeth for a very long time.  She's been wiggling and wiggling with no luck.  It took an accidental kick to the face by her brother Friday night to finally get 2 of them out.  She put those 2 under her bed and woke up to $4.  The next day that pesky gray tooth was still hanging in there, barely.  She was determined to get it out.  With a little help from Dad she got it out and woke up this morning to $5!!  Now she is begging to go to the store to buy something with her tooth fairy money.  I'm just so glad that gray tooth is finally gone!  I think she'll be on a soft diet for a while!  =)

Look out... no training wheels!

We've been talking about taking Carson's training wheels off for some time now, he has just been a little hesitant about it.  He kept saying "I'll try when I'm 6."  Friday he decided he would be brave and give it a try, and he did amazing!!!  He started off a little wobbly, but it didn't take long and he was riding to and from the trail by our house.  He was so proud of himself!!  What a big boy.  By the end of the night he was back to his daredevil self and flying through the streets.  I swear he's going to give he a heart attack.

Happy Momma's Day!

My family spoiled me on Mother's Day with breakfast in bed, gifts, and lots of love.
Lance offered to take the kids so I could have a relaxing day to myself, which was a nice offer and very tempting, but I couldn't let my family go off and have fun without me!  So we drove up to Northwest Trek and spent the day checking out some cool animals and playing in their new kids area.
Carson had fun despite what his face shows.  He really enjoyed riding the tram.  All the spring babies were out and it was adorable!  Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mother's out there!  I hope to spend time with my amazing Mother soon!
